New Concrete Driveway & Stamped Patio in Edina MN
With the housing market being what it is lately, we’re seeing a lot of people staying where they’re at and investing in the homes they already have, rather than moving as often as they have in the past. Pictured below is one such instance. This house is in Edina, and along with a large-scale addition, Matt decided to add even more value to his home by replacing his worn-out asphalt driveway with a new concrete driveway. Pictured below is the before and after pictures.
But that’s not all! Take a look at the before pictures of his backyard. In addition to having some pretty serious drainage problems, the remodeling left Matt with two new doors in need of steps.
Although it’s hard to see from the pictures, the backyard is very private and bordered with trees. Matt and his wife wanted a quiet area to sit and relax after work and on weekend mornings. They decided to go with a stamped concrete patio with a 12″ x 12″ stamped tile border. They chose a random cobblestone stamp pattern with classic gray color hardener and deep charcoal release. Take a look at the “after” pictures below- all that’s left to do is a little but of final grading and some landscaping, and their backyard transformation from a water-filled mess to a quiet retreat will be complete!

Great job! I am sure the homeowners are happy! I love the stamp that was used!
